A rough estimate is fine. Our final invoice will be based on the actual length of files - down to exact seconds. We will alert you to any large differences between your estimate and actual length. Please estimate full minutes only.

1 business days - $3.85per audio minute

2 business days - $3.45 per audio minute

3 business days - $3.20 per audio minute

5 business days - $2.80 per audio minute

7 business days - $2.60 per audio minute

Same business day - $4.25 per audio minute

Broadcast Quality - ABC news quality etc. No extra time or resources needed.

Faint/Some background noise - Typist will need to listen several times to some passages attempting to decipher the recording. (+$0.30c)

Very Poor quality recording. Please note: We will do our best with the recording but there will be unintelligible timestamps where we are unable to decipher the spoken word. (+$0.50c)

One or Two speakers - no additional charges apply

3 speakers - + $0.30 c per audio minute

4 speakers - +$0.50 c per audio minute

5 or more speakers - + $0.60 c per audio minute

English First Language Speakers

English Second Language Speakers +$0.40 per min

Speech Difficulty +$0.40 per min

Intelligent Verbatim - concise, more like a written English. Most common.

Strict Verbatim - reflects more spoken English - includes ums, ers, repetition etc. Mostly used only in certain types of research. +$0.50 per min

For qualitative research etc... please upload an example for review. +$0.60c per min

Open Captions (Burnt into video - permanent) +$12.00 per min
